The Boyfriend Jeans
This are the first "boyfriend jeans" I own (ever!), I’m used to wear skinny jeans so this was a huge step for me, I felt tempted for a long time to buy a pair because I saw them on a bunch of magazines and street style web pages; now I can’t stop using them: they are comfortable and flattering (as I didn’t expected them to be). I wear them with a nice t-shirt or an statement blouse (as in this post) and with stilettos (the brighter the better), I don’t picture myself wearing them with flats, I’m –kind of- petite so it works better for me this way.
I’m having a really full agenda for this week, lots of fashion and beauty events are going on these days, I love them! For example, yesterday I attended a “Meet and Greet” organized by InStyle Magazine and Help Trough Fashion Organization with the famous Nina Garcia (Fashion Director of Marie Claire USA); I’ll be posting pictures of the event and talking about this initiative very shortly so stay tuned. Estos son mis primeros boyfriend jeans (de la historia), estoy acostumbrada a usar skinny jeans, así que comprarlos fue un gran paso para mí. Estuve tentada muchas veces a comprarme unos -los veía por todos lados- en revistas y páginas de street style. Ahora, básicamente no me los quito: son cómodos y halagadores (no esperaba que así fueran). Me gusta usarlos con una playera o una blusa estampada (como en este post) y con stilettos (entre más brillantes y coloridos, mejor), no me imagino usando estos jeans con unos zapatos de piso, supongo que porque soy un tanto petite y siento que no me vería del todo bien.
Esta semana es una locura -agenda llena- hay muchos eventos de moda y belleza a los que por cierto, ¡me encanta asistir! Por ejemplo, ayer fui al “Meet and Greet” organizado por la revista InStyle y Help Through Fashion con la famosa Nina Garcia (Directora de Moda de la Revista Marie Claire USA); Esperen muy pronto un postsobre este evento en donde subiré fotos y hablaré un poco de la iniciativa que Nina está promoviendo.
