This Tuesday I was invited to the launch of the Millennium Promise Collection by Tommy Hilfiger. The brand, created an exclusive and special collection to support the non-lucrative organization Millennium Promise: 100% of the sales will be donated to this organization in order to help them reduce extreme poverty in Africa. This special edition collection it’s inspired in Africa and includes brilliant colors and tribal details without losing the preppy essence of the brand. The official spokeswoman isthe famous actress Katie Holmes; she traveled all the way to Africa in order to meet the kids and the communities that will be favored with the sales of this collection.
I’m very pleased to see that international brands are involved in social projects helping the community through fashion.
